Workout Detox Smoothie

Sometimes we can simply overdo-it in the gym, or on the track, or when we are excited about getting back into shape and not allowing ourselves to rest properly. Last night I went to a boot camp and gave it my all and then woke up today and went to a class at Pure Barre just to try it out. Usually the pain of healing comes the second day, so when I feel it on the first day, I know I'm in for it! So I created this smoothie to help detox my lactic acid-filled muscles, feed them, and to power up with nutrients to make this transition into walking like a normal person go faster. This tastes wonderful. It is slightly sweet (just enough not to be too green), refreshing at the end, and no aftertaste. All the greens used were from my garden.

Ingredients:

Handful of organic cilantro

Handful of organic parsley (used curly and flat)

Several large leaves of organic spinach

Several small leaves of kale

Few sprigs of organic celery leaves

Few springs of organic fresh dill

1/2 cup organic, frozen mango cubes

1/2 cup organic, frozen blueberries

3 T aloe

2 t Vivix by Shaklee

2 T Physique by Shaklee

1 Cup organic acai juice (I used Sambazon)

1 t organic chlorella

10 drops of organic turmeric (drops)

10 drops of organic milk thistle seed (drops)

5 drops organic oregano (drops)

15 organic grapefruit extract drops

15 drops of Mimi's Miracle Minerals (organic fulvic and humic acid drops)
